Keeping families afloat through times of medical crisis.

Coping with critical care patients

When a family member is suddenly diagnosed with a serious medical condition, it is often without warning and the impact on the patient’s family and friends can be emotionally devastating.

Not knowing how to cope with this new situation can cause families to fall apart around the patient. This leads to additional stress and sometimes self-blaming in the patient and their condition deteriorates further as a result.

Hospital staff are responsible for patient medication, pain management and general hygiene but they are not typically responsible for the provision of family support, counselling and guidance to enable the family to work together to prevent family collapse, fully support the patient to full recovery, or manage feelings of loss or grief in the family.

Our support and guidance will give you comfort, understanding, and the strength to tackle another day.

We help family, friends and support workers of a person with a critical health crisis by providing support, training and resources to help them overcome disabling stress of not knowing what to do or how to cope. Our step-by-step guides provide families with a clear understanding of how to keep calm, stay in control of their emotions and support their family member to enable a quicker recovery time.

We are a safety net for the whole family.

Laura took a fresh approach which made me understand what I was dealing with and how to deal with it!  Without a doubt, Laura’s unique process saves lives. Without Laura and her help, I would not be where I am today. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs this kind of help and support.

Thank you, Laura for all the support you gave me and my family. I don’t know how we would have managed without you. You helped us all through the darkest days when we were all ready to give up. Focussing on our plan, and working together helped Mum get through her illness. We are forever grateful xxx

When my husband was rushed to the hospital my entire world collapsed. I just didn’t know what to do or how to function without him. The fear of losing him had me paralysed and unable to even string two sentences together. Thank you for everything you did.  You are an absolute angel Laura xx

My wife told me she knew her suffering was causing me so much pain that she just wanted to die quickly to spare me. Your help changed all that. Once I got control of myself she started to get better so much faster and eventually I was able to bring her home again. Thank you for saving us both Laura.
